If you’re using a device with a camera, you can check in auction attendees using Scannable QR Tickets. This is especially helpful if you have a lot of attendees and don’t want to spend time searching for them.

What QR Codes Look Like for Attendees
Auction attendees can access their unique QR code in a few ways.
After they register, attendees will receive a ticket email that includes the QR code and links to add the digital ticket to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
If the attendee sets up an account in the Givi app, they can also access their QR code there by tapping their bidder number at the bottom of the screen and then tapping View QR Code.
How to use QR Code Check-In in the VT
If you’re using the desktop version of the Auction Virtual Terminal, navigate to the Attendees tab and tap QR Scanner next to the search bar to open your device’s camera.
At the top of the scanner modal, you’ll see tabs for Search and Check In.
Select the Search tab if you want to use the QR code just to locate an attendee. Select Check In if you want to automatically check them in when you scan their code.
If you’re using the Bloomerang Fundraising app for auction check-in, navigate to the Attendees screen and tap the QR code icon in the top right corner to open your device’s camera.
As with the desktop VT, at the top of the scanner modal, you’ll see tabs for Search and Check In. Select the Search tab if you want to use the QR code just to locate an attendee. Select Check In if you want to automatically check them in when you scan their code.
