Want to offer a discount on registration fees for your auction? Head to the Promo Codes section! You can choose to which packages certain promo codes may be applied and how many uses of each promo code are allowed before the special price is no longer honored.

To set up a promo code, navigate to your auction control panel and select Promo Codes within Registration Setup in the left-hand navigation.

To create a new code, click the Add New Promo Code button.

First fill in what you want the Promo Code to be. This will be what auction attendees enter on the registration form. You can also add an optional Description.

Then, determine if the promo code will discount the registration fee by a set amount or by a specified percentage. Select either Amount Discount or Percentage Discount to select the discount type. Amount Discount is the default option when creating a new promo code.

Next, fill in the Discount and Maximum Uses fields. Discount is where you enter the amount or percentage you wish to discount the registration fee by.

Maximum Uses sets the number of times a promo code can be used to discount a registration. If the promo code is meant to have unlimited uses, simply click the infinity symbol to the left of the text box where you’d enter the number of allowable uses.

If the promo code is part of a registration drive event or you want to offer a discount for a set period to encourage guests to register early, toggle on Enable Start and End Dates and then set the Start Date and End Date fields to your desired date range. The promo code will then only be valid between the start and end dates.

If the promo code should only be available to certain packages, you can select which packages the promo code can be applied to by selecting an existing package from the Select Some Options field. If you want the promo code to apply to all packages, select Select All to apply the promo code to all existing packages.

Once your promo code settings are set, click the Add New Promo Code button.

You will then be returned to the main Promo Codes table, and your new code will be displayed.

If you want to edit an existing promo code, select Edit to the right of the promo code summary. To delete the promo code, select Delete.
