Refund a Kindful Fundraising Transaction

To refund a transaction created in Kindful Fundraising, you must use Bloomerang CRM.

Warning: Refunding credit card and EFT transactions processed through Bloomerang CRM will refund the full amount of the gift.

To refund the transaction:

  1. In Bloomerang CRM, go to the constituent's profile.

  2. Click the Timeline tab.

  3. Click the transaction entry.

  4. To refund the transaction, click Actions and select Refund.

  5. Enter a reason for the refund.

  6. Click Update.

The transaction is now refunded, and the full amount is on its way back to the constituent's bank account or credit card.

You can view both the original and refunded transaction on the constituent's timeline.
