Use Opportunity Qualifications to tag volunteers with certain skill-sets, attributes or certifications in your Opportunity. Opportunity Qualifications work the same way as Organization Qualifications, except they apply only to the Opportunity itself.
Tip: When Qualifications and Roles are linked, volunteers will not be able to select any Roles/Shifts if they do not meet all of the associated Qualifications.
To manage your Opportunity level Qualifications:
If you are in more than one organization, make sure you are in the right one.
From the navigation menu, click Opportunities.
Select an opportunity, or use the search box to find and select an opportunity.
In the opportunity menu, click People, and then click Qualifications. A list of the current qualifications appears.
Click Add Qualification, and then do one of the following:
To create a new qualification:
Click Create New Qualification.
Enter the qualification name and description.
Select the qualification visibility setting.
Click Save.
To copy existing qualifications:
Click Copy Qualifications from Another Opportunity.
Select an opportunity from the drop-down list. Eligible qualifications from that opportunity appear.
Click the arrow for a qualification to move the qualification to the present opportunity. Or, click Select All to move all the eligible qualifications to the present opportunity. If a qualification shows a check mark, it is already in the present opportunity.
Click Import Qualifications.
To select and use organization qualifications:
Click Select Organization Qualifications.
Select the checkbox for one or more qualifications.
Click Save.
Note: If you add organization qualifications to the opportunity, the volunteer already answered the question at the organization level, so they aren’t required to answer the same question at the opportunity level.
