What is an Opportunity Manager?

Assign a user the Opportunity Manager role to give them full administrative access at the opportunity level. Opportunity Managers have full control over an opportunity, including permissions to edit venues, volunteers, roles, and the schedule. They also have full access to opportunity and opportunity details.

Assign an Opportunity Manager on the Roles Page

To add a volunteer to the Opportunity Manager role from the Roles page:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Opportunities.

  2. Select an opportunity, or use the search box to find and select an opportunity.

  3. In the opportunity menu, click Schedule, and then click Roles.

  4. Select Opportunity Manager from the list of roles.

  5. Click Take Action, and then click Edit Volunteers.

  6. Select the volunteer you want to add to the role.

  7. Click Save.

Assign an Opportunity Manager on the Volunteers Page

To add a volunteer to the Opportunity Manager role from the Volunteers page:

  1. In the navigation menu, click Opportunities.

  2. Select an opportunity, or use the search box to find and select an opportunity.

  3. In the opportunity menu, click People, and then click Volunteers.

  4. Select the checkbox for the volunteer(s) you want to make an Opportunity Manager.

  5. Click Take Action Take Action checkbox icon..

  6. Hover over Bulk Assign/Remove, and then click Roles.

  7. Click Add these Roles.

  8. Select Opportunity Manager.

  9. Click Save. The volunteers you selected become Opportunity Managers for that opportunity.
