After you enable the PayPal & Venmo add-on and wait for approval, you might see this message:
We couldn’t verify your account. In Stripe, please make sure the account details match your admin’s personal information rather than your organization’s information.
Bloomerang Payments is built on Stripe, which is a payments processing platform. If you see this message, your account information in Stripe might be incorrect. In Stripe, you must enter the legal information for your administrator. This information is used to verify your administrator as an individual responsible for your organization’s accounts.
Stripe collects this information because of financial obligations that help prevent fraud. Read about why Stripe collects this information.
In this article, we’ll help you update and resubmit that information.
Update and Resubmit Account Information
To update and resubmit Stripe account information:
In Bloomerang CRM, click Settings.
Click Payments.
In the Bloomerang Payments section, click Settings.
A Stripe Express page opens. Stripe automatically texts a code to your mobile phone number.
Enter the six-digit code that Stripe texted to your mobile number.

In the Personal Details section, click Edit.
Make sure the personal details match your administrator's legal information. For example, enter your administrator’s legal address, phone number, and social security number. Do not enter your organization’s address, phone number, and social security number.
To save your changes, click Submit. Stripe verifies the changes you made.
In Bloomerang CRM, click Settings.
Click Payments.
In the PayPal & Venmo section, click Update Account Info.
Verify the information that you updated in Stripe appears here.
Click Next.
Click Submit.
Next, PayPal verifies your information. In Bloomerang CRM, you can view the verification status.
