Add and Manage Attachments

Link to websites and attach files to timeline entries.

Link to Websites

Add links to web pages or to files stored on online services, such as Dropbox.

To add a link to a timeline entry:

  1. Open or create the timeline entry.

  2. In the Attachments section, click the + icon.

  3. Click Link to Web.

  4. In the Website Address field, type the website address.

  5. In the Display Name field, type a description to change the link text. Otherwise, the website address is used.

  6. Click Save.

Add Files

Attach a file to a timeline entry:

  1. Open or create the timeline entry.

  2. In the Attachments section, click the + icon.

  3. Click Add File.
    Note: If this says "Upgrade to Add Files," click to send an email to Support.

  4. Browse for and select one or more files.

  5. Click Save.

Open Attachments

Click the link or filename to open or download it.

Download Attachments

To download an attached file:

  1. Click the blue down arrow.

  2. Click Download.

Edit Attachments

To edit a link or file:

  1. Click the blue down arrow.

  2. To edit the file name, click Edit Name.
    or
    To edit a link or its display name, click Edit.

  3. Click Save.

Remove Attachments

To remove a file or link from a timeline entry:

  1. Click the blue down arrow.

  2. Click Remove.

  3. Click Save.
