Connect Bloomerang CRM and Gmail for New Transaction Notifications

Zapier enables you to connect Bloomerang CRM to your Gmail account to receive or send notifications to staff, board members, or constituents. For example:

  • Send notifications when transactions are created or when constituents are updated or created.

  • Send a confirmation to a donor whenever a recurring donation payment is processed.

To Set This up in Zapier

  1. Locate the template you would like to use, and click Use this Zap. You will be prompted to log in to your Zapier account.

  2. Review the template's prebuilt settings and customize, as needed.

Step 1. New Transaction in Bloomerang CRM

Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.

Choose Account. Select your Bloomerang CRM account, then click Continue.

Customize Transaction. Review and click Continue.

Find Data. Select a sample transaction to test with, then click Done Editing.

Choose Account. Select your Gmail account, then click Continue.

Customize Email

  1. Under To, enter the email address you would like to receive the notifications.

    1. Enter email addresses under CC and BCC, if needed.

  2. Under From, enter the organization’s email address.

  3. Under From Name, enter the name of your organization.

  4. Customize the Body of the email. We have filled in a number of fields. Feel free to add or edit as you would like, then click Continue.

Send Data

  1. Click Test & Review.

  2. Check your email to see how the fields have populated, and verify that any links work.

  3. Adjust your set up, as needed, then click Done Editing.

  4. Zapier lets you know when it thinks your zap is ready. Click the toggle button to turn on your zap and start receiving notifications in your Gmail account.
