Will the online donation form and/or email signup form do a duplicate check?

Yes, the donation form looks at a combination of First and Last Name and either Address or Phone or Email. If a match is found, the donation goes into the existing account's timeline in Bloomerang CRM. If a match is not found, a new constituent record is created.

First Name matches as an includes or tokenized match and allows "Micah & Liz Weaver," "Micah Weaver," "Liz Weaver," and "Micah and Liz Weaver" to match a joint account named "Micah & Liz Weaver" or "Micah and Liz Weaver."
