Zapier enables you to create tasks in Bloomerang CRM when a transaction is entered. You can use this template to automatically create a follow-up task for your Executive Director when a new donation or pledge meets your organization's minimum amount for a major gift. A task is created for each new gift that meets the criteria.
To Set This up in Zapier
Locate the template you would like to use, and click Use this Zap. You will be prompted to log in to your Zapier account.
Review the template's prebuilt settings and customize, as needed.
Step 1. New Transaction in Bloomerang CRM
Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.
Choose Account. Choose your Bloomerang CRM account, then click Continue.
Set up Trigger. The template includes donations and pledges, but you can add or remove transaction types. Enter the Minimum Amount of a major gift for your organization. Click Continue.
Test Trigger. Select a sample transaction to test with, then click Continue.
Step 2. Create Task in Bloomerang CRM
Choose App & Event. This information is prefilled based on the chosen template.
Choose Account. Choose your Bloomerang CRM Account, then click Continue.
Set up action. Information is prefilled based on the chosen template, however, data can be updated or added if desired:
Select the User to whom this task should be assigned.
Test action.
Click Test & Review.
Check to see that the task has been created in Bloomerang CRM.
Adjust your set up, as needed, then click Turn on Zap.
