You can sign up to volunteer for an opportunity in the Bloomerang Volunteer web app. For the best experience, sign up using a computer or another large screen when you can.
To register, you first need the registration link for the opportunity. Most of the time you receive this link in an email message, in a social media post, or on the opportunity's or organization's website. After you open the link, you are ready to sign up.
Note: The steps and pages in this article appear only if the opportunity's managers enable them for the signup flow.
To register for an opportunity:
Open the registration link for the opportunity.
Click the signup button. The registration form opens, which can have as many or as few steps as the opportunity's managers choose.
Complete the registration form questions, then click Next Step.
Note: Any question marked with an asterisk is required, and you must complete it before you continue.Select your qualifications, then click Next Step. Your qualifications appear in your profile and determine which roles and shifts you are eligible for.
Select the role or roles you want, then click Next Step. Roles determine your job within your shifts.
Select your availability, then click Next Step. Your availability tells the system and the opportunity's managers which shifts you are available for.
Select your shifts. You see the shifts you are eligible for based on your earlier selections. Select the checkbox for each shift you want to work. To narrow the list, use the shift filters on the page.
Tip: Depending on the settings the opportunity’s managers enable, you can see other volunteers who are already signed up or on the waitlist for each shift. Click the shift to view shift details including other signed-up volunteers.If you select a shift that is part of a series of shifts, select one of the following series signup options, and then click Save:

All shifts in series with open spots
This and all following shifts with open spots
Specific dates in the series with open spots
Click Next Step. You are registered for the opportunity.
