When you send emails in Bloomerang Volunteer, the sender address is [email protected] by default.
You can change the From Sender or Reply-To email address. For example, use a custom address from your organization’s domain. Or, use an address from a mailbox provider such as Google or Yahoo.
Using a custom sender address helps volunteers recognize your organization as the sender. Volunteers are more likely to open your message and less likely to mark it as spam.
Requirements for Reply-To Addresses
Reply-To can be an email address from:
A mailbox provider such as Google or Yahoo
Your organization’s domain
To use a different Reply-To email address, you must first verify it. When you verify an email address, you click a link we send you, which confirms you own the address.
Requirements for From Sender Addresses
From Sender must be an email address from your organization’s domain. You can’t use an email address from a mailbox provider such as Google or Yahoo.
To use a different From Sender email address, you must complete two steps:
Authenticate your organization’s domain in Bloomerang Volunteer. We’ll walk you through this technical task, but you might need a little help from your IT support provider.
Verify an email address from your authenticated domain. We’ll send you a link to click, which confirms you own the address.
